The District maintains approximately 30.3 acres of open space land situated throughout the Mayfield neighborhood. In addition, the District is responsible for maintaining the City-owned landscaping bordering the south side of 120th Avenue and right-of-way landscaping along 118th Avenue and Niagara Street.
The District also owns and is responsible for maintaining the storm water detention area (which collect the storm water runoff from the streets) - located on the south end of the neighborhood.
